Our 3.5 hour course is designed with your learning in mind: producing confident life-saving caregivers for real-life emergencies. There is no video, only engaging instruction, lots of hands-on learning, all while maintaining a fun and collaborative environment, with activities like Rescuscipalooza!
Overview
- 2-year certification from SOLO
- CPR / AED / Choking for Adult, Child, Infant
- ~3.5 hours for the whole course -- no in-class video, no online component
- Much more hands-on practice and fun than nearly every other CPR class out there, with a variety of scenarios staged to make participants think, act, and rescue (the mannequins)
- $75/person ($79/person if paying by credit card)
Public Enrollment
- Before most Charlottesville dtWFA classes, as well as a few other locations, we offer CPR/AED certification on the Friday evening before, 6pm - 9:45pm. The schedule may be found on our calendar and on the registration form.
- You do not need to be registered for the weekend's dtWFA class to attend.
- Are you attending a dtWFA class and intersted in CPR but we don't have a Friday night class listed? Contact us.
Private Classes
- Private class in Virginia: with minimum 10 people. If you have more than 17 people, you will need separate class times for each group of 17. Charter a private CPR class.
- Instructor travel time: FREE if an hour or less from Charlottesville, VA. If more than an hour outside of Charlottesville, travel expenses are at the current IRS mileage rate. If an overnight is required, MEDIC will also ask host to cover basic motel and food expenses.
