I LOVE us Humans! Always excited when I meet new people, hear their stories, and get to add to the elaborate, intricately-complex patchwork quilt of my understanding of this crazy thing called Humanity.

It was one summer where I had the lovely experience of both teaching rockclimbing and environmental stewardship, and mentoring elementary through high school aged children that a the shake of a Timber Rattler’s rattle, and an epileptic episode impressed upon me the necessity of Wilderness First Aid. Being passionate about both the outdoors, and our place in it, I delight in being a part of the empowerment that learning this great tool is for so many people.
