MEDIC SOLO takes seriously the spread of contagious illness and infectious disease.
We also understand that many people are weary of COVID precautions and most institutions have moved on from requiring COVID precautions.
While we cannot guarantee that pathogens will not be transmitted during one of our dtWFA classes, we do our part to minimize that risk. Our harm reduction measures may not eliminate the risk of transmission, however they will help reduce the risk. The more we do together, the safer we all will be!
On MEDIC’s part:
We ask participants to:
During class, we may monitor for new symptoms. If you develop symptoms during class, we ask that you mask inside, isolate, and seek medical advice -- working towards creating a safe space for all participants. Some of our instructors and participants are higher-risk for negative long-term effects of COVID and we appreciate your willingness to help keep them safe.
We ask our participants to strongly consider also taking the following precautions:
We appreciate everyone doing their part to keep each other safe during class!
If you feel these safety precautions are not enough to keep you safe, we would love for you to contact us. We are working on developing alternatives specifically for those who are immunocompromised or who have loved ones who are, and can’t participate in the open-enrollment in-person classes. We are committed to removing barriers to dtWFA certification.
